The faculty has started educatıon with electrical and electronics engineering in 1996-97 academic year and continued to its development with computer engineering in 1998-99, industrial engineering in 1998-99. The faculty increased its growth by adding biomedical engineering in 2000-01 and Mechanical Engineering in 2003-04 to its existing departments.
The educational programs of the departments of the faculty of engineering are prepared withın the prınciples of internationally acreditatıon organizatıons. Each teaching program includes the courses of science, engineering, and professıonal, also the courses of social sciences.
The theoretical courses of engineering are supported by experiments and applications and the students have traıning periods and projects.
